Content as a Key to Democracy

When Whitney Quesenbery left the world of UX research to co-found the nonprofit Center for Civic Design, she didn’t know that her background in user experience and clear communication would be such a central part of her work in civic design. It turns out that information that is easy to find, understand and use makes a difference to whether people can vote successfully.

Join Whitney to learn how to:

1) Use content design and plain language to fight mis/disinformation

2) Transform simple forms and notices into invitations to participation

3) Use bites, snacks, and meals to structure complex legal information
