WINKTV.COM GOES LIVE WITH INGENIUX NEWSROOM

November 13, 2003

Ingeniux Corporation, the trusted provider of XML-based Web content management software, today announced that WINK-TV, a CBS broadcasting affiliate serving Southwest Florida, re-launched the www.winktv.com news and information Web site using Ingeniux Newsroom, a Web publishing system developed specifically for the news media industry.

Ingeniux Newsroom provides an integrated solution for broadcasters and other media organizations to publish content-rich Web sites leveraging their existing newsroom production processes. With Ingeniux Newsroom, WINK editorial workers can drag-and-drop stories from their existing productions process and publish them to their Web site with one click. The system also automatically publishes wirefeeds and data from the AP and National Weather Service, parsing the feeds for stories pertinent to the Southwest Florida communities served by WINK.

"Ingeniux Newsroom has brought a new degree of control, reliability and salability to our online news," said John Emmert, WINK TV station manager. "We have more reporters publishing Web stories, we have automated updates of breaking news events, like hurricane reports, and we have much more content, without adding any bodies to the newsroom."

Ingeniux Newsroom was designed and developed in partnership with Fisher Communications (NASDQ: FSCI) - a television and radio broadcaster with affiliates across the Pacific Northwest. The system was developed to serve the express needs of broadcasters and has been used throughout the Fisher Communcation network for the past two years.

Ingeniux Newsroom seamlessly integrates with traditional broadcasting software. It quickly empowers non-technical users to contribute to and manage the Web publishing process, relieving the IT bottleneck associated with creating and updating Web sites. Its granular permissions structure and workflow approval process ensures that content is properly approved and formatted before it's posted to the site. The result is a dramatic improvement in quality, quantity and time to Web, with a corresponding reduction in cost.

"WINK-TV differentiated its online presence with more local news coverage and up-to-the-minute reports on breaking news events, making it the leader in local online news," said Jim Edmunds, Ingeniux president and CEO. "Ingeniux Newsroom provided a cost-effective way for WINK to rapidly scale its online coverage, generate significant Web traffic and attract new online advertising opportunities."
