Washinton State Employees Credit Union Launches New Website With Ingeniux CMS

Ingeniux Corporation, the trusted provider of XML-based Web content management software, today announced that Washington State Employees Credit Union has selected Ingeniux CMS for publishing its Web site and Intranet. Washington State Employees Credit Union (WSECU) is a not-for-profit financial cooperative that serves 127,000 member-owners and manages over a billion dollars in assets.

WSECU selected Ingeniux CMS to provide non-technical staff an easy-to-use solution for developing and managing Web and Intranet content and to provide the Information Technology team a comprehensive maintenance, security, and content lifecycle solution. Using Ingeniux CMS, the WSECU marketing team will assume primary responsibility for authoring and publishing content to the Web site (wastatecu.org). Prior to using Ingeniux CMS, Web updates were created by the marketing team and then assigned to technical staff for publishing, a time consuming process that slowed Web updates.

Jeff Kleingartner, WSECU marketing manager said, “Ingeniux provided our team a simple-to-use solution, with time-saving benefits for our staff and increased access to current information for our WSECU members.”

WSECU launched the Ingeniux CMS version of its Web site on July 12. The new site includes a complete re-branding for the organization. The content management system supports the brand program by formatting Web pages to match WSECU’s new branding and style guide requirements, ensuring consistency across all Web site pages. The implementation will also feature integration with WSECU’s backend database system to deliver up-to-date online rates for all loan products.

The second phase of WSECU’s Ingeniux CMS implementation will be an organization-wide Intranet. With Ingeniux CMS, each department will have the ability to publish their own Web content. The Intranet will provide improved departmental and cross-organizational communications without impacting technical staffing.
