Ingeniux Expands 360 Developer Support with New Application Modules and Tools

SEATTLE, WA - Ingeniux is pleased to announce the availability of a number of new application modules for the Ingeniux 360 Developer Support program. These solutions are freely available for organizations enrolled in the Ingeniux 360 Developer Support program.

Ingeniux 360 is a premium developer and site support program that includes on-call professional services and consulting, advanced developer training, annual website audits, and community source license to a large library of pre-built website solutions and advanced CMS development tools. Ingeniux 360 lowers the cost of website operations by providing the website solutions and services that organizations need to rapidly advance their online programs without hiring additional staff or investing in third-party applications.

Ingeniux has expanded the library of 360 Applications Modules and website solutions with the following applications:

Schema Designer

Schema Designer is a GUI development tool that allows developers to create new XML schemas for Ingeniux CMS in minutes. It provides a simple "drag-and-drop" interface for creating new schemas, documenting schemas, and editing existing schemas. Using this utility dramatically decreases schema development costs and prevents syntax errors that would otherwise occur when manually creating schemas. This utility supports all Ingeniux CMS Version 6.0 elements and includes a comprehensive guide to Ingeniux Schemas.

AJAX Event Calendar Module

The Ingeniux Event Calendar has been updated to use the latest AJAX technology, speeding performance and improving the user experience. A stalwart in Ingeniux site implementations, the Event Calendar module provides an easy way for content contributors to create and manage events.  It includes standard display templates for daily, weekly and monthly views, as well as filtered views by category.  The AJAX enhancements allow users to filter each view without reloading the page and provide an indexing system to facilitate re-use of events throughout the site based on category and context.

Scheduling Rotator Module

Building on previous Rotator and Slideshow modules, the Scheduling Rotator module addresses the need to schedule content rotation over periods of time.  Rotator modules allow content contributors to rotate content - such as images, video, Flash, or other content components - randomly, sequentially and as a slideshow.  The Scheduling Rotator now adds the ability to rotate on scheduled time periods.  The module provides a centralize interface for managing the rotation schedule and the type of rotation. 

E-Newsletter Management Module

The E-Newsletter module makes creating, managing, and distributing E-Newsletters using the CMS a snap.  The module is designed to repurpose created from the website and package it up as an outbound newsletter.  It is a great way of extending web content to customers, constituents and stakeholders that may not visit your web site on a regular basis.  The system outputs to email and print and provides archiving and emailing capabilities.

Authentication Module

Authenticating users for accessing protected content just got a whole lot easier.  The Authentication module provides a complete framework for authenticating users and protecting pages on the web site.  The module will authenticate site visitors against LDAP, Active Director or any database repository.  It provides the ability to designate pages as protected and set granular permissions for the those pages based on user groups within the user data store.

Secure Download Module

Working in tandem with the Authentication module, the Secure Download module provides secure file download of documents and other content without exposing the files on a system level. The module stores protected files in a repository outside of the web site directory, preventing direct access to the files by users and site crawlers.  Access to the files is protected and authorized using the Authentication module framework. The Secure Download module is ideal for form-based authenticated web sites that require protected downloadable binary files.

Site Migrator Utility

The Site Migrator Utility provides an administrative user interface in Ingeniux CMS for packaging and migrating content between Ingeniux CMS sites.  The utility preserves all references and structures in the site, so the navigation structures, internal links, component references and start pages are all maintained in the migration.
