Ingeniux Launches Content Management System Version 5

Ingeniux Corporation, the trusted provider of Web content management software, today announced general availability of Ingeniux CMS Version 5, the next generation of the company's flagship Web content management and publishing software. Ingeniux CMS Version 5 provides customers with major advancements in product usability, content automation, user management, and XML publishing capabilities.

Key Product Enhancements

·Improved usability. A new user interface and overall usability improvements make it easier for users to create and manage XML-based content. A tabbed- based Administrative Client enables users to switch between Edit, Preview, and XML views with a single click.

·Robust content editing. A new WYSIWYG editor provides easy to use content authoring and editing. The new edit control is configurable allow managers to provision toolbar items based on Users or Groups. The editor also supports forms building and rich media deployment for Macromedia Flash and Windows media files. Content may be imported for Web and document sources using a variety of options to clean formatting.

·Native support for single source business documents. Ingeniux has developed an embedded XSL: FO server that transforms XML documents to print-ready PDF. A new Render as PDF feature can render individual pages or entire publishing targets as PDF. Content can also be outputted as MS Word and other document formats.

·Expanded administration for linking and page creation. Version 5 dramatically improves site management and administration services. A new link checker utility verifies and resolves internal and external hyperlinks. Page Creation Rule Inheritance allows site managers to quickly provision sections of the Web site with rules that manage site navigation, templates, and workflow.

XML Publishing Solutions

Ingeniux CMS version 5 features an XML-based architecture and file form ant that enables organization to take advantage of the powerful content reuse benefits and cost efficiencies of XML publishing. With Ingeniux CMS Version 5 content is authored once in a standards-based XML format. The CMS has the ability to - statically or dynamically - output content in virtually any file format; from well formed HTML to business documents like PDF and MS Word to syndication formats like RSS and Atom.
