Press Release
CMSWATCH NAMES INGENIUX BEST CONTENT SYNDICATION SOLUTION
January 4, 2004
Ingeniux Corporation, the trusted provider of XML-based Web content management software, today announced CMSWatch has named Ingeniux CMS the best Syndication solution in its ProductWatch: 2nd Annual Supergroup. Ingeniux CMS was awarded "Kudos," the list's top honor, for its syndication capabilities. Ingeniux was the only company awarded top honors in the Syndication category. Ingeniux CMS also merited honorable mentions in the Output to Alternate Formats, and Role/User Management Capabilities categories.
Syndication is the ability to publish content to third party Web sites or disparate channels within an enterprise, such as Portals, Intranets, and Extranets; thus enabling publishers to extend the reach and value of their content. The Ingeniux CMS features a pure XML content syndication system that allows publishers to create a piece of content once and repurpose it across multiple systems, devices, and Web sites - transforming structure and design to meet the requirements of the target.
Ingeniux CMS syndicates content with little or no additional cost to publishers. It can deliver information to alternate device types, such as PDAs, cell phones and kiosks, output multiple versions of a site for accessibility, brand content for affiliated sites, and integrate content into portal applications.
CMSWatch (http://www.cmswatch.com) is an independent source of information, analysis, and reports about web content management solutions. The ProductWatch: 2nd Annual Supergroup rates leading CMS vendor's products on strength of offering for several different categories. CMSWatch founder Tony Byrne compiles the list.
Ingeniux CEO and President Jim Edmunds said, "We are proud of the CMSWatch honor because syndication is a bellwether for how content gets used in real-world website deployments. Ingeniux CMS's XML foundation and robust template system ensure that content can be transformed and presented to meet any requirement. As Web services and multi-channel publishing continue to rise in criticality, syndication will become even more important in delivering real value for content management systems."
Ingeniux CMS is a native-XML Web content management and publishing system for developing, managing and deploying Web content. Ingeniux CMS empowers non-technical users to contribute to and manage the Web publishing process, relieving the IT bottleneck associated with creating and updating websites. The result is a dramatic improvement in quality, quantity and time to Web, with a corresponding reduction in cost.
